1. Drying of resistor before inner core assembly
In order to strengthen the insulation strength of the side of the resistor sheet, an organic coating with high insulating properties is applied to the side of the resistor. At present, the organic coatings commonly used in China have a certain degree of moisture absorption, and there are also water absorption and surface condensation phenomena (such as: the phenomenon of water droplets on the surface of the water pipe in summer is obvious surface condensation phenomenon), therefore, the arrester The resistor must be dried before inner core assembly.
Note: The arrester is a protective electrical appliance. If there is moisture inside the arrester, or if the moisture intrudes into the inside of the arrester, it will not only fail to protect, but will also explode. Therefore, a key point in the assembly process of the arrester is to ensure that the interior of the arrester is dry during assembly, and strict sealing measures must be taken to ensure that moisture cannot penetrate during long-term use. Drying the resistor before assembling the arrester core is an important measure to ensure the interior of the arrester is dry.
The following points should be paid attention to when drying the resistor sheet:
⑴. The drying treatment of the resistance should be carried out in an oven with hot air circulation, and the temperature difference in the oven should not be greater than 5 degree . In an oven without hot air circulation, a mercury thermometer must be measured to confirm the temperature difference between the upper, lower, left and right sides of the oven, and those with a temperature difference greater than 10 degree should be used with caution.
⑵. The resistors should be placed in separate rows and layers in the oven. There must be a certain ventilation space between the rows and layers, and they should not be stacked in a large pile. At the same time, it should be noted that the resistance sheet must be placed away from the heater (such as: resistance wire, heating tube), and the ventilation holes (channels) should not be blocked, so as to avoid the local temperature being too high and the organic coating aging.
⑶. The drying temperature of the resistor sheet is 100 degree ±5 degree , and it is better to keep it warm for 3 to 4 hours. There is no requirement for the heating rate, but the holding time must be started after the temperature reaches 100 degree .
⑷. After heat preservation, the resistance sheet must be cooled to below 60 degree with the oven before opening the door and taking it out for use. When accelerated cooling is required, the oven door can be opened by 110cm, but when the temperature in the oven drops to 60 degree , the oven door must be closed tightly. Take it out and use it at any time, take out a small amount at a time, do not take out a large amount at one time, so as not to absorb moisture again.
⑸. Resistors that are not used up on the day must be stored in a 60 degree oven, or re-dried before the next use.
